# Review attendance entries

> Inspect submitted work and break slots, compare a time card with its schedule, and approve or reject the attendance entry.

Attendance reviewers inspect submitted time cards against the person's schedule and tracking policy. A day marked **Not sent** has not entered the normal review flow, while **Pending**, **Approved**, and **Rejected** show different stages of a submitted day.

## Open the day

Go to **Tasks > Requests** and choose the attendance item. Check the person and date, then open the time card. Read the work and break slots, their start and end times, and the total tracked time. Compare it with the assigned work schedule and any policy warning. A rejected change may carry a reason even when another part of the time card remains visible.

## Decide with a useful reason

Use **Approve** when the card is accurate. If it needs correction, choose **Reject**, enter a **Rejection reason**, and confirm. The reason is visible to the employee. Explain which slot or policy issue needs attention so they can open **Attendance**, correct the day, and save again.

## When the item is missing

Ask the employee to check the day's status. **Not sent** means they need to open the card, fix missing time, and choose **Save**. An incomplete schedule or employment setup can also make targets unavailable; an administrator should review those assignments rather than judging against a missing target.
