# Manage your account and preferences

> Find personal preferences and connected accounts, and distinguish your own email and calendar grants from company settings.

Your Worklayer account has personal controls alongside company settings. Use **Preferences** for your own account and **Connected accounts** for Google or Microsoft email and calendar access.

## Personal settings

Open **Settings > Preferences** from the sidebar. This is your account area. A company-wide change to organisation structure, time off policies, payroll, integrations, or agent access belongs in the corresponding company settings and may require an administrator.

## Personal connections

Go to **Settings > Connected accounts > Accounts** to see your Google and Microsoft connections. Check whether an account is **Connected**, **Limited access**, **Pending**, or **Needs attention**. Use **Grant access** or **Reconnect** when the page offers it. **Make default** chooses the account for new meetings; existing meetings and explicitly selected senders keep their original account.

**MCP connectors** is a second tab under Connected accounts. It gives you commands to add Worklayer to Claude Code or Codex when that connector is available in your environment.

## Company connections are different

**Settings > Integrations** connects tools such as Slack, Teams, Linear, Notion, and Airtable for the company. It does not replace your personal email or calendar grant. If an agent cannot send from your account, check Connected accounts. If it cannot use a company tool, check Integrations and the agent's permissions.
