# Connect Notion

> Grant Worklayer access to selected Notion pages and choose the search, read, create, update, or archive tools agents may use.

Notion provides page tools for approved Worklayer agents. A connection gives access only to the pages selected during Notion authorisation and the actions allowed in Worklayer.

## Select pages and tools

An administrator opens **Settings > Integrations > Available > Notion** and completes the Notion connection. Select the pages Worklayer may access on the provider's consent screen. Back in Worklayer, open **Tool permissions** and review **Search pages** and **Read page content** separately from **Create page**, **Update page**, and **Archive page**.

## Use it in an agent

Check the saved agent's **Instructions** for which page it should read or change. Grant the necessary Notion tools and data permissions, then inspect its run and the affected page. The company connection does not itself create a policy page or keep a document in sync. An agent must be configured, triggered, and permitted to perform a write.

If a page is not found, check whether it was selected during Notion authorisation before changing the agent. If reading works but updating fails, inspect the provider's write tool and the agent's permission.
