# Fix a connection that needs attention

> Identify whether a failed action uses a company integration or personal account, then check status, grants, and tool access.

A failed connected action may use a company integration, a personal account, or an agent permission. Identify the connection first so you repair the correct one.

## Company provider

For Slack, Google Chat, Microsoft Teams, Linear, Notion, or Airtable, open **Settings > Integrations > Active**. Check that the intended provider is connected. Open **Tool permissions** and inspect the specific read or write action that failed. If Worklayer could not verify those grants, use **Check permissions again** after reviewing the provider setup. The saved agent also needs matching access in its **Tools** and **Permissions**.

## Personal account

For your own Google or Microsoft email and calendar, open **Settings > Connected accounts > Accounts**. **Limited access** can need **Grant access**; **Needs attention** can need **Reconnect**. Complete the provider consent flow and return to check the new status. A declined consent or expired attempt has to be started again from Worklayer.

## Retry the work

Return to the original Chat conversation or specialised agent run after repairing the connection. Read its current status before retrying, then verify the result in the destination service. If the action already succeeded, repeating it could create duplicate work.
