A saved agent’s activity records each run and its steps. Use it to tell the difference between finished work, a run waiting for input, a planning failure, and an event where the instructions had nothing to do.

Open a run

Go to Agents, select the agent, and open its activity or run history. Choose a Run to see the steps, status, and details. A completed run can still deserve a check in the affected Worklayer record or connected tool. Nothing to do for this event means the agent checked its instructions and no step applied; it is not a failure.

Respond when work pauses

Needs input to start means the agent has a question before it can plan. Open the run, read the question, and use Send reply to answer it. Needs action can mean a missing permission or connection. Read which access the run requests before granting it, especially write access to people records or an external tool. If you cannot grant it, ask an authorised administrator.

Handle a failed run

If the drawer says This run could not be planned, no step was created and nothing was sent. Use Try again after reading the details. If the drawer cannot load a run, it may have been deleted or belong to a different agent; return to the correct agent before treating it as a work failure.

Verify completion

After a run continues, reopen it and inspect its settled steps. Then check the task, document, request, message, or external record it was meant to affect. A summary or status is useful, but the destination confirms whether the intended change is present.
